Shoulder Press
Practice upward pressing and shoulder control, training the deltoids and elbow extension.
Current example: Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press。Use backrest support to stabilize the trunk and choose a light load.
Scene controls: arrow keys rotate; + / − zoom. Camera controls also support every operation.
Loading 3D. A 2D illustration on the same timeline is available now.
Sit on a back-supported bench with feet grounded and dumbbells at a comfortable pressing start.
Lines show grip points or joint paths; dots mark the start and extension checkpoints, with the finish returning to the start. A dead-bug cycle illustrates both sides; actual repetitions are counted per side. The range is illustrative, not a required depth.
Original joint models and animations are teaching illustrations without motion capture or individual calibration. Playback starts paused. Reduced-motion use can inspect checkpoints and the timeline. Camera rotation spans 360°, and zoom only changes viewing distance.
Paused by default. Choose a checkpoint or play to observe a full repetition.
Observation and Equipment
Equipment: Training bench with backrest and Dumbbells
- Keep the seated trunk stable, starting the dumbbells where you can control them comfortably.
- Avoid leaning back through the lower back to gain pressing height.
- Press and lower smoothly while continuing to breathe.
Joints: Shoulder joint, Elbow joint, and Trunk-stability region
Safety and Scope
- Stop uncomfortable overhead pressing and ask a professional about suitable ranges and variants.
- One universal height is not a completion requirement.
Movement-learning information for healthy adults without known exercise contraindications. Sources are reviewed; this does not replace on-site technique assessment.
Reduce Difficulty
- Use a light seated press in a pain-free controlled range.
Adjustment Boundaries
- Keep support during pressing and lowering before adjusting under the plan. Pain calls for assessment of a suitable range or variant.
